It does sound quite churny like it could be an airlock
I must have missed that bit of your message Mike. We don't have he gadget to measure the voltage (voltmeter?) but will get one.. which one would you recommend? Thank you
Oh and Re the thermostat...The fire heats up the thermostat and when it gets to a certain temperature it activates the pump so the pump makes a whirring noise but then the radiators don't get hot. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi thanks... air and then water. Then husband topped up the header tank.
The radiators usually only get hot when the multi fuel stove is hot... the thermostat activates the pump.
Even when stove been on for hours the radiators don't get hot.
Thanks
Hi
The pump seems to have broken on our boat. We have tried bleeding he radiators and the thermostat is working.
The pump is in a sealed unit so we can't get into it. Does anyone know a plumber in or near Stratford Upon Avon who might be able to help? Thanks a lot
