W+T
Now then, on Veneer how many coats, i cant find info on how many coats but more the better. I plan on maybe 8 on the strakes but will the interior need a lot? I dont want it a really bright deep shine as i read that the more coats applied the deeper the shine. I mite tey go satin with it not sure yet.
cuthound
According to their website, 2 coats for internal work, 4 for external work and a minimum of 5 for marine applications. I put 4 coats on some external furniture, to test it out. Looks great and the water collects in huge beads when it rains. I put 5 coats on the cratch of DQ, and 4 coats on the stern doors, covering both wood, paint and the roses and castles artwork. They do a matting agent, "Gelomat", which I used on the final coat on tne inside of the front doors. I used a 1:3 ratio and it has come out on the shiny side of satin. Next time I will try a 1:1 mix. WotEver
Yep, I think two coats would do it for internal.
