Laurence Hogg
In Pete Harrisons picture the top one on a chain is a hot brass stamped mini from a Dudley stampers sold as a gift widely on the waterways by CWS and its predecessors, still available today. The lower one is almost certainly one of my "Boatmans Cabin Co" GU windlass in LG2 gunmetal, The Selwyn Jordan mini shown in the picture by Max's son, were made in low quantities and these are rare. alan_fincher
or a full size version: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOLID-BRASS-BRONZE-CANAL-LOCK-WINDLASS-NARROWBOAT-CANAL-RARE-/172383763260?hash=item2822df7b3c:g:Tx4AAOSwgHZYC6ic To my eye the full size one looks bent! At £60 with only about 6 minutes to run. Don't think I'll be bothering!
