New pontoons on Trent at Colwick

Yesterday noticed the construction of new pontoons. imagine too much to hope they are for public use but we've been severely restricted for river moorings for the last couple of years whilst the permit holders are on the visitors moorings at Holme lock during the hydro electric works there. Anyone know anything about them?

There were signs on them saying private mooring only when we passed there in June.

 

Sorry, I was meaning the new pontoons south of Hazleford Lock. Didn't know about Colwick.
