Shardlow chandlery

Does anyone know what has happened to the chandlery in Dobsons yard in Shardlow (not the one at the marina on the Trent).

 

Has it moved or has it just closed?

It was taken over by a very pleasant and knowledgeable couple (Mr. & Mrs. Miller perhaps?) in the early 2000s and they revitalised it, but I guess they may now have retired.

A visit there, followed by a visit to the canalside antiques centre close by, used to be an enjoyable afternoon out when we lived in the area.

As far as I remember, Mr Miller was unfortunately taken ill and had to close the business

It was a loss when he left Stowe Hill

They closed the chandlery awhile ago because Mr Miller had terminal cancer, not heard if he is still around tho.
