We have just come down the Servern, Stourport to Worcester on Thursday, stopped on the racecource moorings (£4). Then yesterday Worcester to Gloucester, now moored in Gloucester docks. The moorings have been well listed by others, but it is difficult to plan on stopping anywhere on the Severn other than Worcester, the pub moorings that there are are generally quite small rickety affairs and you only need a couple of cruisers there and you have no chance of stopping. If there is a narrowboat you have the option the breat up of course. Upton is great, but that was full at lunch time when we passed yesterday, were weren't planning on stopping though.

There has been a couple of mentions of farmers fields, that type of mooring does not apply on the Severn (or Avon), that is more how it works on the Thames.

From Upper Lode to Gloucester you do have to think about high spring tides, there is one this morning, which makes that section go tidal for a short period, which is why we come down yesterday rather than stopping at Tewkesbury and coming down today.
