Back in 2005 we visited the Llangollen canal on our second shareboat.

 

We moored out in the sticks for the night and soon became the entertainment for the evening for a herd of cows. several waded into the canal to get a better look at us, and one waded across to lick the canalside window

The bull saw itself in our mirror windows and I thought one tonne of force behind a hoof was going to mash up the bote. Luckily for us he just kept licking the window image of himself.

Hmm, I've herd about those. Apparently they're a load of bullocks. Try to make a bit more heifert, otherwise people will steer away from this thread and run hell for leather.

 

I don't suppose you'll be suede by my opinion, though.

Only if you squeezed your boat down to Cropredy, where I could indeed be observed taking early evening refreshment on the front deck.
