Paul C Posted March 26, 2016 Report Share Posted March 26, 2016 If you arrange the terminals on the busbar so the inverter and battery bank connection share a stud, then the current between these won't need to pass through the busbar, only the terminals. Its possible that during heavy inverter use with the engine on, the alternator might pass its full current, and that would be on a separate stuf - so the current will traverse the bus bar.
