Boat Painting on the Lancaster Canal

Featured Posts

We are currently moored in a marina on the Lancaster canal and are looking for a reliable boat painter to repaint our 60ft narrowboat some time this spring/summer. The bottom also needs blacking and this could be included to increase the size of the job. I would prefer it done under cover and it may include taking the windows out. Please contact me via this forum or send any recommendations. Thanks

Why not nip across the Ribble? I know St Mary's Marina at Rufford have a painter who's work looked good when we were there over last summer.

I'm sure others could recommend painters on the north west too. It's a fun trip!

Cheers

Brayzel boats, based at Bridgehouse Marina, do a high quality job. Painting slots are limited however as they prioritise their in-build boats.

If Brayzel can't do it you could try BWML Marina at Glasson Basin who did have a painter previously. Other than that, there are a few individuals based at Garstang Marina who paint as a sideline. As has been mentioned, across the link, St Mary's at Rufford have good reports.
