Guest
Evert time I have submitted a post this evening (using my iPad as usual) I get the message " you don't have permission for that" telling me that I have posted to often in a short period, which is patently untrue. Can anyone shed light on the issue please? My guess would be there is some way for the forum software to detect if it is being hit by a spambot making a number of posts in quick succession and somehow you making a post has incorrectly been detected as such an attempt, ISTR I have had the same or very similar in the past on the very od occasion. Beyond that no idea.....
Paul C
Its to do with browser side caching - by clearing it on the device, the problem should disappear.

Guest
Thanks for the explanation. I have no idea what you just said! Sorry Your iPad stores some information about sites you visit in its 'cache' to allow for quicker loading when you visit sites. Think of it as a folder with information in. You can clear this out and start afresh so to speak. Settings > Safari > clear history and web site data. You will lose stored passwords and usernames though.
