Burnley festival

Just had a great couple of days at the burnley canal festival

 

Lots of local people out and interested in the canal and good turnout of boats

We are still here! Alan H is holding forth on the working days of the L&L, Kennet left a few hours ago, and the beer is running freely.

We passed through yesterday, sadly had guests on board and no time to stop but did break out the flags and all dogs came out to inspect the show. I have to say it looked a fine thing to stage, Lots of people working hard giving the canal a good show. Canoeists though were, hmm let's say interesting to get past.

We had over 1000 visitors on Kennet over the two days, bringing this years tally to over 7,500.

I don't know who the bouncer outside Kennet was but he was doing a fine job when I pushed my bike through. Congratulations are due.
