The coverage would need to be a huge improvement on their 3G coverage which is dismal.

Agree, Vodaphone in our experience is the worst network for coverage on the canal network, data or plain old phone signal. No idea what their 4G coverage is like though.

They obviously rely on people not claiming the cashback, or getting the claim wrong. I see no reason whatsoever to require invoices within a certain time frame to create a refund... if the deal is real, they could just charge the "offer price" up front.

 

Not dissimilar to the supermarket vouchers which get you to come back... No reason why they can't knock it off the current bill and I would be more likely to come back.

At £17 for unlimited data and 4gb tethering, Three still seems to be the best network for data. Only 200 mins of calls though, but unlimited texts.

I must say, I see 4g coverage on my vodaphone phone in a small number of large cities, and thats it. The 3g coverage is better, but only maybe 50% of the canal network.

4G and speed is not what it's cracked up to be.

 

I tried Giffgaffs 4G for a month - couldnt believe how slow it was, even in areas where there was a great 4G signal, like central Manchester. I now pay a bit less for their 3G service and it could even be a bit faster???

 

I use an EE data sim for mobile broadband on the boat, and it's the fastest 4G I've seen.

I've always found Vodafones data to be the worst. You can have full 5 bars on 3g but data speeds so slow that it would make that ancient 14kb modem from 25 years ago look speedy.
