Long curtain/blind rails

Hi,

 

I'm looking to get some round 3/8" rails for the bottom of our roman blinds, to hold the blinds in against the side. Ideally I'd like to get something in stainless steel that'll last and not tarnish. I've found Midland chandlers have some here but they only go up to 4' length in stainless steel (6' in brass though!) and we need at least 5 feet lengths.

 

I've managed to find 6' chrome tubes, but not too keen on it as I suspect the finish won't last. Found a wonderful site called Jim's Engineering, but sadly due to ill health he's not making curtain rods at the moment. Does anyone know any other places I could source from, either online/mail order or within reasonable range of Oxford?

Google Stainless Steel Rod and you will find several mail order suppliers of 10mm rod. But for long lengths you will pay a premium rate for delivery.

 

You could still buy the fittings from Midland Chandlers.

Have you tried Wilko's , not sure if one in Oxford though
