Slightly off SPRING topic, but in the photo of your engine Mr F you appear to be a bolt short ( bottom right corner) on the side cover plate maybe it"s been replaced by now

I've mentioned that missing bolt to him before when he posted a similar pic in another thread.

Dunno - but it's just occurred to me there's potentially hours of somewhat malicious pleasure to be had from keeping a handful of springs and other gubbins in one's pocket .....

 

Birdseed on the roof is always good for ensuring your neighbour is awake early....
