David Schweizer
does anyone know the general prices of getting a fibreglass boat out of the water in Bradford on avon, transported to Birmingham canal 27 foot dawncraft I used to volunteer for the K&A Trust at Frome Road Wharf in Bradford, and the easiest way to get a small boat out was up the slipway. The wharf is now operated by Oxfordshire Narrowboats, so you will need to contact them, alternatively Hilperton marina operated by Alvechurch boats, have a crane Edited June 22, 2014 by David Schweizer
Burgiesburnin
A 27 foot boat isn't that big. I,m sure that you may be able to find someone with a boat trailer that you could hire or borrow and tow it yourself.

Jim Riley
Dawncraft have twin keels underneath so will sit on a flatbed/old caravan chassis trailer, possible with a dandy or 22 but maybe not a 27.
Guest
Our Dawncraft 25 was transported on a very ordinary flat back wagon in the 1970's. This was easy owing to the fitted keels already mentioned. The delivery driver from Dawncraft reversed quickly down the slipway until the rear of the wagon was submerged then hit the brakes. It launched in one go.
