Bunny
We are on our way up to Mercia and our webasto has stopped working. Well it is 9 years old and in an awkward place so that our usual engineer was reluctant to service it . So now it has finally stopped working . Can anyone recommend a webasto engineer in the mercia region please . Many thanks . Bunny.
johnmck
Where are you now? Sam Matts at Foxton boat services installs and services them. May be worth contacting if you are near.

smileypete
If it's running smoky and may have coked up, apparently running a few litres of proper paraffin though it can help: http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?258433-Parafin-kerosene-and-eberspachers&p=2773398#post2773398 Canalside diesel usually is a cleaner grade than it use to be, so nowadays this problem isn't as common. cheers, Pete. ~smpt~

Pot Noodle Adventurer
Hi I have a Webasto Thermo Top C. If yours is similar to mine it may have the fuse block in the wiring that has three fuses in it and worth checking these blade fuses to see if there is a failure. The only time I have had a dead unit was when I disturbed a wire causing a poor connection at the back of the control panel so I installed crimped spade connectors on each of the three wires behind the panel and hey presto has worked fine since, fingers crossed. Covering the Mercia area I think there is Edward Shires who fitted the system in our boat before we bought it and all good, Tel 07922 163072 of Four Counties Marine, have a look at his website www.fc-marine.co.uk based in Leek Staffordshire who may be able to assist. Good luck with it and enjoy your stay at Mercia.
