Diesel engineer near Waltham Abbey

For some reason my engine stopped after running for 10 minutes.

The first indication I had was a drop in revs, I went and checked the engine and the revs were continuing to drop. I had throttle to try and keep it running but slowly died untill it stopped with a lot of black smoke.

I assumed it was lack of fuel but I've added 20 Ltrs and checked/bled from the filters to the return pipe from the engine rail - all OK.

The engine still will not start.

Any help appreciated guys

With black smoke, it get no air, or to much fuel, or draw oil into cylinders, but that would be blue smoke.

Thanks for the help peeps. Dean was brilliant - water in the entire fuel system. Now fully functional
