In our experience, fuel polishing was a complete waste of money, RCR said we would be pleasantly surprised by how cheap and effective it would be, probably less than £100, it was £90 + £90 worth of filters and our tank is still full of crap! Grrr! Going to cut a piece out of the keel tank and clean it out properly the week after next, After we had ours 'polished' we had to resort to running off 5 gallon containers (and we still are!)

Better to pump it out into containers yourself, then leave it to settle and skim off the good stuff or even chuck it all away and fill with fresh diesel!

In our case it was a half full 200 litre tank so £180 was a lot to pay to clean approximately 100 litres, especially as we had more problems with crap being dragged through afterwards
