We have a customer with a 25ft Dawncraft & a Stuart Turner twin fitted. the Carb is shot and no one seems to know where to get a new one.

They suggest the carb is either a Solex or a Amal. Could be worth trying classic motorcycle clubs.

I understand the Solex and Amal carbs fitted to the twin engines are special 'marine' types but I got a twin to run nicely with a re-jetted Amal monoblock carb ( ex BSA A10) & adaptor flange.

I would buy a Japanese carb - much more available and so much better.

You will still have to work out the jetting and adapter but there are loads.
