Hubby fixed it in using the fuse supplied and the fuse blew instantly. as far as we can see there are just two wires which did not touch each other. matty40s Posted February 11, 2013 Report Share Posted February 11, 2013 Unlikely to be a faulty unit as these are very reliable and robust. Has any water got in the wiring - why did you replace the previous pump, had water leaked and maybe got into the wiring in the bilge somewhere? Is the fuse in the positive side?
