I like them and always used them until I discovered how cheap a bottle of liquid stuff is at Aldi, it works well to. I think it cost me a fiver and I have had it 6 months -
Thanks all, yes there is a bit of water in the bottom, I will check the stern gland, and fit a bilge pump, not sure if it was a leak from shower or condensation cos it has not been lived in for a year haha loved the lash the oil drum to the side, I don't get sea sick I was more worried about spilling my brandy, I am not on board yet but me stuff should be going over next week, a luxury to paint with room to move and nothing to cover with protectors.

I have just bought a 25 year old narrow boat, make unknown. It rolls a lot and makes me feel queasy, I have not got it furnished with my stuff yet, does any one know why it rolls so much? It is a 30 footer which does not help I guess, and cn any one suggest ways to make it a bit more steady, it has an outboard but the old prop is still under the floor boards

Sadly the gruff and i have decided that gruffing along suits neither of us well. That means i am going to have 10 grand to get a small boat for me as a live aboard. I love the life and simply don't feel happy house bound. The other half and I bought a boat from blissworth about 3 years ago, we now want to split up. I know I signed papers at the marina, never seen them again. Is there any way I can find out. EX is now saying its all his boat and I should leave. Not happy about that cos put a lot into it, all done on trust and luv apart from oven I got by debit card, Starting again at 60 on basic minimum wage is a bit galling

we recently bought a pretty birl cowl, it came with £10 of cos Joe not happy with the finish. It looked perfect to us and we happily fitted it. I have had both, the carpet was hard to keep clean, mud, coal dust ( a hot coal bounced out onto the carpet and singed it) and not forgetting the space a hoover takes, though you can use a broom. The husband fitted underfloor insulation and laid laminate on top. It only needs a floor wipe to come up spotless every time, its not good on bare feet though because it can be a bit cold underfoot so socks or slippers for sure. I think if you have pets (Me - 2 cats) it's the best option.

He lost control of the horse and his boat ploughed into us, It took ages to sort the insurance. In fact we were unable to move for almost 6 months re all the engine repairs. Others complained about him running over the boat roof following a heated exchange. Police said it was trespass.

ours paid for itself in a couple of months, we were not working then, and when the pump out went from around £10 to around £15 overnight it felt like pardon the pun - taking the p***. It is true that not every elsan is suitable. The smell is mangable,some likethe blue stuff,some like brewers yeast tabs. Me I like old live yoghurt
