Hello - less than 5minutes in my experience!

when I cut holes last year for new roof vents, I purchased a bog-standard hole-cutter saw. It was rubbish and just made a mess of the paint as the teeth stripped themselves off. I don't think it liked the curvature, plus it was a cheapo one.

I resorted to the jigsaw and was amazed... having measured, measured and measured again following previous "opportunities to learn" :banghead: involving cables etc, i simply put a 10mm drill hole in the steel, and then sawed to the line using my Bosch jigsaw, with a standard metal cutting blade set to a high speed. I gave it the odd spray of WD40 as I progressed the cut and it took just a matter of minutes to complete a pretty good finish circle through 6mm steel roof.

It's easier than you think....
