I was going to bid on this used battery monitor.

The same guy also sells these new for £99 so why do people want to pay £77 for a used one.

Are these moniters any good?

Hi

They are ok BUT with the standard shunt will only cope with up to 100 amps which is not much at all if used in conjunction with batteries drawing big ampage for say a washing machine. For not a hell of a lot more money there are better alternatives. I personaly wouldnt pay that percentage of new price for secondhand anything.

Well, 11 different bidders who have taken the price to £77 from a 99p start must think they are.

I wont be bidding though.

Depends who you talk to. ;)

You do have to know how to intpret them and also how to keep them calibrated to your batteries.

As Chalky said The SOC calculation is "interesting"
