I have a Beta 38 in my boat and the cooling water does not evaporate, I suspect you may have a leak.

I suspect you are over filling it and it is being blown out of the over flow

The expansion tanks tend to be to small for the mass of water in the skin tank.

Id have to put the antifreeze in most days (at least every other day) though as the water "evaporates" i presume from the temperature it gets up to when running the engine

 

Also, I notice a lot of you are saying to change the "filters" on the engine?! Where will I find these? And where is the oil for the gear box? Will that also be on the main engine too
