They're having a Laugh

I'll keep it short, our breadmaker has a broken circlip, fits over a 8mm shaft. Went onto Morphy-Richards website to get a spare and got an e-mail back saying circlip is not available as a spare but that I would have to purchase a complete new bread pan at a cost of £27-83.

Told them not to bother, sure I can get one at a garage next time I'm near one.

Similar problem with an Eberspacher warm air heater a few years ago. All it needed was a new set of carbon brushes for the blower motor but you had to buy a new motor for £500.

Slightly :smiley_offtopic: but not by much.

Are those bread makers any good / worth the money

We have 2 one at home and one on the boat. The one at home bakes overnight and the one on the boat gets put on when the engine starts in the morning so is ready for lunch. Our last boat had a Eberspatcher but we never tried making bread with it.
