Rick
My last few posts are all stated as being number 41. Pardon what might seem a silly question, but shouldn't the number increase by one with each post? Richard

Jon
Hi Rick It shows your cumulative posts, rather showing than showing each post as the consecutive post that you made, hence all my posts are displayed with the same post count. Cheers Jon

Paul Evans
There's no such thing as a silly question. If you want to know something and can't find the answer for yourself the only way to find out is to ask. There are only silly answers (we need them sometimes just to stay sane) and silly uses to which the answers are put. Keep posting and watch your number grow. Jon likes to congratulate us for using the forum and you really should work to please him!

maffi mushkila
There's no such thing as a stupid question. I say, I say, I say I beg to differ. The stupid question is the one you dont ask.
Rick
There's no such thing as a silly question. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, in this case the answer was obvious if I had thought about it. As to there being no such thing as a silly question I beg to differ. Having worked in the replacement window business for some years I can assure you that there an infinite number of silly questions, such as "Can I lock my front door from the outside". This was occasioned by showing the customer how to operate the door locking system whilst inside the house. Richard
