Tiller handle

I currently have a chrome tiller handle on my narowboat.

I was wondering, is it possible to have a folding tiller handle in chrome or is this not possible because of the chrome plating?

If it is, where can they be bought. The chandlers I have visited don't seem to stock them.

You could have a brass on chromed for about £75

I thought you could get just the hinge part?

 

if so could cut the chrome tiller handle appropriately and insert the hinge.

 

I don't like highed tiller handles on narrow boats.

Mine is hinged and chromed - came with the boat - I ca ask where they got it from... I find it useful to raise when getting on and off at the stern... you could just swing it out of the way though....
