Crick 2006. Way above average May rainfall creates a mud swamp at the site. Cars have to be towed off the field car park. A fire at a meat processing plant causes access from the M1 to be closed for 48 hours, causing a massive traffic jam for miles around.

 

Crick 2007. After a reasonable Saturday, Sunday turns to biting East winds and violent hail storms. Monday sees almost 50mm of rain - several months worth in one day. This heralds the start of the wettest summer in living memory.

 

Crick 2008. After a reasonable Saturday, Sunday is cold with heavy downpours. Monday the site is evacuated after just half an hour because of high winds.

 

Crick 2009. 7 cases of Swine flu are reported in Crick village. The show is abandoned.
