GUCC Mirror

I wonder if anyone can throw any light on the history of this lovely mirror. I’ve asked around and some have suggested it’s not very old and possibly similar to the ‘Southern Comfort’ reproductions, it looks much older with marks on the silvering, this is a very limited market and surely there would be more around?

 

I spotted it over 30 years ago in car dealers workshop, he knew nothing of it. The frame is new.

 

It’s approx 19 x 28”.

It may be a corporate promotional gift, sent out to customers/contractors.

My money would be on that. Those mirrors were fashionable in the 70s and 80s so it could well be 40-50 years old which would account for the age marks.
