“Structural failure” Lock 7 Lapworth Flight

Does anyone know the cause of the “structural failure” at lock 7 At Lapworth…due to be going that way in a couple of days and want to know if it’s a possible easy fix or not…the stoppage notice is less than helpful to put it mildly!….just says it will be fixed as soon as possible…..which in CRT terms could be a day…could be a year….

Update on 12/10/2023:We're pleased to advise navigation is now open again. The paddle had come out of the frame, but our Reactive Response team fitted it back in this morning.

Good news. I'd didn't fancy going into Brum via Camp Hill.

I did post an update! But it needed approval because it had CRTs email in it and now seems to have totally gone!  Sorry!! At least it was a quick fix.
