Bugsworth Basin Heritage Trust

I was speaking to a CRT person last Wednesday in Bugsworth Basin on the Peak Forest Canal and he mentioned that the basin is now managed by CRT as the Bugsworth Basin Heritage Trust closed/stopped/folded in December and he does not know why.

 

The BBHT website is still active but does not mention anything about it being no more. Has anybody heard anything about this? Bugsworth Basin Heritage Trust

Still going and all in order according to the Charity Commission website, although income and expenditure were down in the last annual return.

The Facebook page quoted on the membership form no longer exists and the only post on the Bugsworth Badin FB page is a plea for volunteers by CRT.

Web pages aren't much use as they tend to lead a zombie existence when they stop being maintained.

Yes it’s back in crt hands. Think the trust members were just getting fewer and older. Maybe other reasons?
