Does anyone have a list of marine engineers in the Wigan / West Manchester area they could share?  Recommendations very welcome.

The engine on a boat I just bought needs a health check and service. Will currently start, but stops itself after 15 minutes running.

Does it do it with the filler cap off the fuel tank? If it doesn't then could be a blocked breather causing a vacuum to form inside, stopping the fuel pump being able to draw diesel. Others will also have suggestions of things to look at.

Is this a new fault, if so what was done before it occurred?

Has it ever been running right as far as you know?
