Replacement ignition bulb

I need to find a replacement bulb for my ignition panel. I'm presuming I need something of equal power to the old bulb if the bulb has to "excite" the starter circuit (matron). 🤔 But I've no idea what the specs are of this bulb, because any writing on it is almost unreadable now. All I can tell is that it's some sort of miniature bayonet. 

Any ideas please?

Probably 1.5 watt. Any motor factors or even the dreaded Halfords should have them in stock. Many garage workshops will also have them.

Thanks. I've found 2W ones on eBay that look like a similar size. If the old one turns out to be 1.5W, would that extra half a watt cause problems?

Within reason the higher the wattage of a charge warning lamp on the majority of alternators the better. the alternator will energize at lower revs.
