Neil Hicks
Does anyone know someone who replaces the pane in narrowboat windows. I have an aluminium frame 91cm / 53 cm. The glass is cracked and I need it replaced. Many thanks, Neil
matty40s
Picture of the window would help. The main narrowboat window forms are Wesley, Channleglaze and Cauldwells, but chances are, you might be able to get a local glazier to replace it. David Mack
If its laminated glass your local glass merchant can cut it while you wait. If you want toughened he will cut to size, but will probably have to send it away to be heat treated, so will take a few days. Either way, take along the old piece of glass as a template, or if that is not practical, a cardboard template.
