River Lot France problem with pontoon

It was certainly high enough to obliterate the weir and disused lock at Luzech.

There were and I'm not sure if it is still the case, concerns that the river level would get high enough to wash the boats stored ashore into the river.

I would expect the owners would have insurance . 

The hire company would probably only be liable if they were negligent but that could depend on the terms of any contracts.

It’s reported that only one was still afloat last night and that is expected to be lost on the dam.
