Registering a sail away on Anglian EA waters

It is very frustrating, you pay £150 (?) and they don't even go to the trouble of checking the dates on your fuel pipe or gas pipe or that the gas locker isn't corroded, or that the hob has flame failure devices or .................. or .........................

 

If all you want is a certificate and don't care if the boat actually meets the requirements then its fine - why don't they just do a mail-order BSSC ?
