Small cruiser hire

I'm being lazy here by not doing the research. Can anyone offer suggestions of companies doing 2 or 3 day hires of small cruisers - sort of 7 to 10 metre-ish? Thames preferred. Probably not Le Boat as they look very stable.

Vaguely toying with the idea of buying one for use on the mainland. I'm used to steel boats which are much more stable. The missus gets very seasick (she's only vommed twice on our NB, in the Severn estuary and on the tidal Thames, both times in rather choppy conditions). Thus, I'd like to try her out before getting to far down the process. Otherwise, I'll have to find another woman first.

I think Caversham Boat Services in Reading have one or two small GRP cruisers they normally do as day boats but if free I bet they would hire for a few days. Seems they also do a Seamaster 27 and an Ex Broads thing

The Seamaster 27 would be a good choice as that is app a £10k boat if/when you are looking to buy........

You would probably have more luck on the Broads with that type of cruiser. You can take the missus across Breydon Water then and check out her seasickness levels, preferably wait for a very windy day and after you have had a good session in the Stokesby Ferry the night before
