fuzzy working boat snapped at northwich, trent and mersey

Hi All, this photo, presumably found on t'internet, was posted on the Orchard Marina facebook page, and dated apparently early 60's (which ties in with the telly aerial), shows (from the marina bridge) a still-extant cottage and a boat - possibly with BW livery ? Thoughts appreciated. Regards John

I think its historic boat Weaver which has been there for many a year, whether that's the one in the picture,  who knows.

I agree the cottage and curve of the canal has similarities to Cathiron, but I think it's more likely to be the cottage next to Orchard Marina.
