Fender line adjuster thingys

Can anyone tell me what these are called so's I can at least Google where to get some wooden ones. You thread the line through them and secure the end, then you slide them up and down the line to adjust, just like adjusting tent guy ropes.

Thanks - searched a chandlers site and those aren't what i'm looking for. Just googled for 'fender adjuster' which brings up this, which is what I'm after but in wood?

I just tend to undo the round turn and 2 half hitches, adjust the height of the fender then resecure

If you really feel you need then, they look easy enough to make.

Yes, I really need them as my marina pontoon bears no relation to the height of anything on the cut. I've seen some in wood on another NB, but they could have been made up. I'll get me jigsaw out then.

Yeah, thats done me for the last 15 years i must say.

- Sometimes we even extend the rope with a lenght of other end of rope, so get them underwater for the ledges on the T&M round nantwich etc. (our fenders sink, you see)

 

Tbh, the adjusters look like they would just snap anyway with a decent one off tug, or work down given time, and generally cause a mess of lost fenders and fenders in the wrong place. Whole thing shouts "gimic" at me!
