jenevers
I haven't got my manual with me at the moment but am I right in thinking that it suggested that the Gardner paper based oil filters can be washed and reused?
john.k
Not unless you have a free supply of bearings......the LW oil filters undersized anyway, and should be cheap......which doubtless they are not..............PS dont forget to drain the filter housing before removing the filter. PeterG
The oil filter is not washable and must be replaced each time, the early models had a gauze type which could be cleaned and then replaced every 2000hrs. The paper elements are replaceable at each oil change.
