    The best thing you could do is search sites like Midland Chandlers, they have a freaky Friday in about a month or so, some may benefit from their 20% discount day! and there are others available. Candy,Hotpoint,Zanuzsi and probably more do a shallow,front to back, washing machine. Once again search on line and of course ebay. I know there is such a machine for sale on here for,I think £150. Not new of course but looks good. A tiny bit of damage. The more you look the more you will see what is available. The 20% discount is worth waiting for if you can. Martyn

    My first drive of a lorry was on/in Malta in 1972 when Mr Mintoff was kicking us out. We did about watch! (Some may know what that means) on board then ashore getting RAF personnel to Luqa Airport to evacuate. We were alongside for tens weeks. I came to like Malta. As you do! Would like to go back there. The old haunts are all gone apparently. (The Gut, Strait Street for one). Martyn

    as you know I wrote to ABC, they got back to me this morning. In the meantime I found a genuine part on ebay for £9 free delivery. Thank you for you help. Martyn
