    David Walliams passed us today, just before Days Lock on the River Thames swimming quite well. I heard he was stopping at Goring for the end of the days session swim today. Then pressing on for the rest of the week to get to London.

    Have a good trip, I'm just south of Banbury tonight heading for the Thames. Looking to go off at Brentford and back on at Limehouse on the 27th so will see you twice.

    Next week I will be venturing through Northampton onto the River Nene and possibly the River Great Ouse. I have never done this trip before therefore welcome any suggestions or advice that would make an enjoyable trip.Also suggestions on moorings and places to see.

    Hi Andy, We did the trip yesterday morning, 0530am. Well worth planning your trip early to avoid the usual fast trip boats etc. Left the lock at 0545am, although a little windy, all was fine and we made good progress.Even had to wait about 20 mins. at Richmond lock waiting for them to raise the weirs. Cleared Teddington lock at 1010am. The view of London from the river is not to be missed. Regards Mike
