hi you will find that running your 240v system via a generator ,if there is a fault the rcd will not trip unless the lead from the genny to boat socket has the earth & neutral link in plug.( please note that this lead must be labled NEUTRAL LINK and must be used only for genny connection ONLY, not for connection to mains shore power. regards bear

hi the alarm on ebay is supplied by a company which advertise in the towpath paper, i asked a question weeks ago if any one has had any dealings with them, as i ordered one which took a month to arrive ,i will reserve comment on product at the moment as i am still sorting out a few issues ,but must say it is not the same as one on ebay but next model up. if issues are sorted could be a great bit of kit for the money. regards bear

hi We have a liverpool sailway which we purchased 18 months ago, again though NBC. We looked at other options for the money but from a fabricator /engineers point of view, the basic structure is great, material thickness is as specified, yes finishing in some areas need refining but overall very happy with purchase. hi We purchased a sailaway made by LB through The New Boat Company about 18 months ago. From an engineer/ fabricators point of view, I looked at many suppliers and the value in relation to materials used, I think are quite good. I must say that we have changed some cosmetic things, but on the whole we are happy with what we got, The New Boat company were spot on and delivery was quick and on-time. Regards Bear
