Dav and Pen

Had first boat a canoe aged 11 on r.nene. Went to sea after leaving school as deck apprentice shell tankers. After leaving mn brought small dolphin cruiser kept at gosgrove. Graduated to NB Tadworth with Tom Henshaw and traded as Ashby Canal Carriers. Carried and sold coal in winter and camping boating in summer. Had half share in Crane during this time. Sold these and had 50 footer built at WFBC based on station boat hull. Took this to Ireland for 2 years.

sold Thor and brought 22m Dutch barge in Antwerp 2001 sold 2019.
