  1. For me the initial choice would be the Trinary Venturer, for one it's a trad and two it doesn't have a baby attached to the stern lol. It was fitted out locally to me to and I know the guys who used to run Bromsgrove Boat Builders (I think the sons still run it?). Lee.
  2. Great pub! Black Country Tapas So accurate I love the 16, not such a fan of the Delph 9 though. Lee.
  3. Don't shoot the messenger lol, I simply copied n pasted the info from the Reg. No. Lee.
  4. A quick shop at Maplins, a bit of soldering and I could make them in LED easily. The mag mount is the easy part. Lee.
  5. I've got a couple of new tubes here if you need one posting. Lee.
  6. My dog would keep them out (or in if her teeth had anything to do with it)!! Lee.
  7. I've popped in there with the new member 'Brummie Ivan' when we were trying to sort his little Kingfisher gearbox issues. Still trading and building, He'd got a lovely mid-build, albeit floating, hull waiting for fit-out there. Lee.
  8. It wasn't a problem, always happy to help. I think we should organise t-shirts with the forum name and member names so we can spot each other lol. Lee.
  9. Don't you start, we got peace n harmony here lol Lee.
  10. Is that an officially transferable railways problem then T? Lee.
  11. Thanks Dave, I doubt Titford moorings would be cost effective at nearly £2k a year so can see me renting a corner of a field somewhere unfortunately. Lee.
  12. Oh , thanks for that MH. I know from looking down from the road there are still a couple of boats in the old entrance and normally a couple on the floating pontoons next to A&D. I'll have to pop down the towpath and have a nosey, might even snap you a pic of how it looks now Last time I went past there on the towpath was 20 something years ago when I worked at the Titford Pump House (it was a car repair/body shop then and hardly had any roof), I know that has been completely re-done as it's now run for the C&RT by a local group (BCN Society). Lee.

  14. I agree with Frangar there. Next time you feel it happening drop into neutral then give it 4 or 5 seconds of gentle reverse, then back into forward, see if it picks up. That'll either confirm or dispel the leaves/weeds theory at least. Lee.

  17. More like elbow room for those busy Brasso days Lee.
  18. Does anybody know if Valencia Wharf is still active? I'm looking into somewhere to moor this project boat should I take it on (non-residential obviously) and this is only a couple of miles away. Lee.

  21. She doesn't have her name painted on her, dinky little blue boat in the corner. I did say hi as we helped you through Delph top lock then walked along behind you lol. Lee.
