  1. Josher with a forecabin. From looking at the name panel it may say Perch?
  2. I used an electric carving knife, it cut through the mattress very easily and neatly.
  3. Get the hull gritblasted and 2-packed.

  7. He thinks it may be of his which he described as a Neales No.2. I'm not sure of the age, I just know we've had it a very long time.
  8. I asked Laurence what it was and he said it was a Neales No. 2.
  9. I'm selling that one for Dad, it's been gathering dust in his office at the yard for years...my bronze windlass is safely tucked away. Been selling a few things recently because I have too much canal tat and I need to make way for more!
  10. That was the day I picked her up, I was like the cat that had got the cream.
  11. I'll be there with the boat as I only live a few hundred yards away from the festival site. The last rally was held in 2011 and attracted over 100 boats. There is a pub on site called The Fingerpost, it used to be known as The Royal Oak, the BCNS also organise quite a sizable beer tent with a number of real ales offered.
  12. Dave, I also have a copy of the Photo in Tom's book amongst many others. You need to start being nice to me...
  13. Dave, in Tom's book he refers to there being a 15hp Bolinder in Ling. Have you seen the postcard which is on my Facebook? That shows one of the old cabins, 70's I guess, but after the engine was replaced. It was knackered? :-)
  14. I'm pleased to say the photograph has now been removed.
  15. Yes I have, but I am waiting for it to be removed.
  16. Hi All, A friend has just pointed me in the direction of a Boatbuilders advert on eBay which is using a badly photoshopped photo of our Norton Canes Demonstrator Resolute to advertise their boatbuilding business. I just wanted to let everyone know that this company is nothing to do with Norton Canes Boatbuilders and they have not asked permission to use one of our boats in their advert. The eBay Advert The original photo: Dodgy photoshopped photo: Sarah
  17. Hampton looks great, I've been using West System on some of the external woodwork on Lamprey and was worried about moisture being trapped, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. I may well give the wooden panels a go with it now...
  18. There's the Dilke which is a 5 minute walk and also the Whitehouse, which is 5 minutes in the opposite direction.
  19. Team Not Ling / Yeoford / Not Yeoford / Collingwood
