  1. Doubt it was 10ft wide Sue, as the maximum width of the locks and tunnel is 9ft 2ins. Max length is 60ft http://canalplan.eu/waterway/pp9g

  3. You don't see many boats of that length on the Brecon! I'm sure it has been reported here in the past that residential moorings are quite rare on this canal. Good luck!
  4. Portholes are more secure and "leak" less heat, however you might need the lights on more.

  6. There are a few marinas on the Brecon, but I am not sure whether there are many residential moorings. Most are quite rural. You have realised that it isn't linked to the main system, haven't you?

  8. Can't remember where it was, but somewhere has trained Raptors to take them out from above.
  9. Because currently the CAA have to be the lead prosecutor, but if this was passed the CC could do it. Saes!
  10. On BBC Wales News last night there was an article about Denbighshire County Councils possibly banning drones over any of their land. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-38225324

  12. Thought it was quite obvious, however........... No-one has been creating a hue and cry because no-one else owns the boat.
  13. Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda
  14. I would suggest that if someone else owned the boat they would have been making a major hue and cry by now....................... The silence is telling!!

  22. What would be the rough cost of road transport from there to say the K & A, plus craneage, as the OP needs to factor that into the price?
  23. Pedant alert!! That is not just an england tour, as you are going into WALES! Sounds good, so enjoy yourselves.
  24. Atleast with it being brought out of the water for the survey it will be ready to be put on a lorry to head northwards and onto the canals.
  25. Photos do seem to show it at a non-canal mooring. It will certainly need a survey and you will also need to account for the price to get it onto the canals. I think there are better in more suitable places.
