    Has magictime been over the aqueduct? The point is that the aqueduct is already pretty safe! There is a fence on the tow path side and the off side is about 6 feet or so wide before the edge. It is well blocked off either side as well to prevent people coming on to it from the off side. You can't just fall off! The Ponty is far more dangerous as is Chirk.

    I walked across the aqueduct this summer, just for the hell of it, I stuck beside the boat as I get vertigo but there is a lot of width there, you are not right on the side as it's about 6-8 feet wide. Its not like the Ponty.

    It always makes things look really busy until you notice the space between each boat. However when space is tight you can get more than one boat on a space!

    As Dave well know knows I am a huge fan of his home brew but once partaken of you forget everything for a few hours prior to the imbibing and at least two hours after.

    Bed is reserved Tiggy but it may come at a price, we might have to dash from Wigrams turn to the Blue Bell so will be calling on ships cat for assistance.

    We've had several drivers jump the lights at this bridge. We keep a camera handy. They don't understand that it's all automatic, I'll let the barrier go down on them but I haven't yet started to lift the bridge with them still on it!

    There are at least two paddles on the lapworth flight that need two hands to wind them down. I am cross that they are spending or considering spending money on a largely non existent problem while basic maintainence, lack of which can cause real safety problems, is being neglected.
