  5. i'dbe abitwaryof building my own fibre glass water tank as the stuff stinks for months after setting. If you look in the boating press (maybe Practical BoatOwner rather than the canal mags) you should find adverts for flexible, made to measure plastic tanks which may be abetter solution.

  10. Internet on board via T-mobile Search for this. The topic has been covered many times. I don't do it yet so cannot make suggestions of my own.
  11. It doesn't need large holes in that steel plate for the water either side to equalise - though small holes are blocked more easily.

  16. It's much quicker using the side paddles, then, as said pull out and let them drop. Everyone does itl.
  17. You can get to Sowerby Bridge - but be warned - you won't want to go back. (PS I'm biased)
  18. Don't buy anything until you need it, and have some idea how to use it.Then buy cheap - except spanners which will round your nuts. You'll soonhave a comprehensive kit though the learning curve may be steep.
