    Pram cover

Depends on where you are, but if you could get to Shebdon Wharf on the shroppie, Tony Saunders - Bethsaida covers will do you a cracking job
  2. Have done this and it`s an experience you will never forget, mind the wind we had one for a week and got to Foulridge and back, on the sharp bends it`s a two man job as you cannot reach the throttle whilst pushing the tiller hard over Never the less you are sure to have fun comparing with a narrowbeam ( if there is a comparison ) the space inside is great. Saw one the other day moored up in Skipton, I took one look and commented " why on earth did I ever want to cruise one of those, they look hiddious " As I`ve already said, have fun , just do it
  3. anyone get the name of the boat, we were up that way only yesterday

I agree, but I can also see where this is going so I`m not going to get involved

    River Severn

Perhaps this is the stupidity we will have to put up with now with the new regime

    TV License

Hey guys just a thought - are boaters supposed to have a tv license
  15. many thanks for all your input
  16. Here goes, I`ve thought long and hard before putting this on here, but I`m running out of options. Whilst on previous threads I`m not a particular fan of bowthrusters, but do acknowledge they can have there benefits, my boat has them but I keep having difficulty in getting them to work efficiently.I feel that if I have them on board they ought to be working. I have looked at the website and there doesn`t seem to be much that can go wrong. An engineer looked at it all last year and did get them working but reckoned it wasn`t worth spending much time on. This year I get the same click when trying to work, just a click. I have taken the top off and given it a little tap and only a little tap , this gets it going but it sparks and looks like it may fire, sounds worrying Anyone any clues , I am bracing myself
  17. Depending on where you are, if you are on the shroppie anywhere near shebdon, try tony saunders of bethsaida covers. Top guy
  18. Hey Danny, any debate on here will get heated,( I`ll probably get slatted for that comment ) but it`s all supposed to be informative. Everybody will have a view - I am not new to boating but I am new to having my own boat so I speak from my own experience, but of course not everyone will. Happy cruisin
  19. As I said earlier, I was only enquiring where something I had previously used had dissappeared to, and I have my answer. There`s never been a problem nor was it ever meant to be critical.

  21. Many thanks Steve for explaining it all. I will see how we get on. I never meant any harm just wanted to know where something that I used occasionally had dissappeared to. All`s well Happy cruisin
  22. Whoooooops, guess that`s told me . For sure I`m not the only one not to like change but hey ho !!!! as the knobs say
  23. by all means have the tubes fitted into the hull, but I wouldn`t bother with the thruster, they`re more trouble than they`re worth. Much more satisfaction knowing you can steer properly without the use of a bowthruster
  24. don`t know why they had to change it in the first place , mihalis was doin just great
  25. Yeh I found that but wasn`t sure what I was downloading
